Basically, I've just installed Windows 7 onto my main machine, and now I can't connect to the internet, as I completely forgot about the whole driver issue. My wireless adapter is an AirStation Wireless G (Model WLI-U2-KG54L).
I installed Windows 7 on my EEE PC, and the wireless just worked without any issues at all, so as I have said, I forgot that I might need to set up drivers for my main machine. I've tried installing the "Client Manager V" software, but once the installation has finished, an error just opens with the message "Installation Failed", and the program wont run. I have also tried running the setup with combatibility for Windows Vista, but with the same result.
Does anyone have any idea for how I can get around this? Or even better, has anyone had the same issue, and found a way around it? Maybe I can use a different AOSS client, if such a thing exists?
Any help would be appreciated.
It appears the driver is not compatible with Windows 7.
There is nothing you can do except wait and hope they update their drivers.
