Your local electric company charges you about 11 cents for a kilowatt-hour of energy. At this rate how much money could you earn by climbing stairs continuously for one hour? I can produce 1 Kilowatt in 1.57 seconds by running up stairs, as we determined today in class. i know there is 3600 seconds in one hour. If I divide 3600 by 1.57 seconds I get 2293. There is no way in hell that I can produce that much power in an hour. So I assume I am doing something wrong, but what?
