I recently bought a new PC (prebuilt scrub) and it was working fine for a few months but stopped working when I tried to restart it recently. The PC powers up and I can hear all the standard whirring and noise but my monitor simply says "no input". I've tried using different monitors and cables (VGA, DVI + HDMI as well as different desktop monitors and TVs) but nothing worked, as well as connecting it to the display port of the integrated graphics rather than the card I recently added. Even without the new graphics card plugged in, the monitor receives no signal from the computer, and I've inspected each individual component for loose connections.
At the moment I'm using an old computer and it connects to the same monitors with the same cables without problem. I haven't got a clue why my new PC stopped working since I haven't made any changes or installed anything lately, I simply restarted after having some wifi connection issues. I've been struggling to find a solution and nothing seems to indicate what could've caused this problem.
Do you have a PC Speaker? ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PC_speaker )
Do you hear normal audio through your sound output (windows booting or something?)
Try plugging the graphics card into a different slot on the motherboard.

there's a single PCI-Ex16 slot on their motherboard

Why the fuck did they put an mATX board in a full sized case?

Any chance you could look in your case and give me the make and model of the PSU? The power draw should be fine, but if it's a particularly crap model it's a possibility that it could have taken some damage. Also try taking out the GPU and unplugging your hard drives. Reset the CMOS by taking out the CMOS battery, unplugging the computer, and holding the power button for 20 seconds. Then plug the battery and power cord back in and try booting it off the integrated graphics.
the PSU is an FSP500-60HNN

I've followed the advice but the problem persists and now even my old PC seems to be facing a similar problem, any suggestions?
try one ram stick at a time. Put it in slot one try it if no go try slot 2 keep trying till all slots are tried then do the same with next stick. This is with your gpu not connected use onboard. If that fails you need to try different psu. If it still fails might aswell buy a new one cause it's fucked. motherboard/cpu i mean
