Ok, so it's my birthday on Sunday and I have asked for money off of all my family members (which undoubtedly I'll get) I already have £300 in my bank and the money I get will probably add up to around £500 so I need help picking a good gaming PC. I really just want it to be able to run games on high fps. And if you could also include a monitor it'd be greatly appreciated.
Ask the PC Building Subforum, they will aim you in the right direction.
Just got on my computer. Anyway, the reason I didn't post in the PC Building Subforum is because, well, that's about building PCs' and I do not want to build one. I want to get a pre-built one.

Fix'd.
Have fun trying to get good fps.
:frown:
Wow, you guys are great help.
Okay then, maby this will help.
Pre-built Pc (£500) = Home Built Pc (£300?)
 I don't want to build a PC.

You may want to reconsider that.
Building a PC will be cheaper and you'll have better performance.

Send me a private message, I may able to help you out with your issue.
Give us the reason for getting a pre-build Pc.
There are no prebuilt gaming computers for that low a budget.
There are multiple options for a gaming PC if you build it yourself at that low price.
Even in USD (less valuable than your currency, and we don't get ripped off on computer parts here) you're not going to find a good gaming computer for such a low price.
You're looking at a Pentium dual, 2 GB RAM, and a 9500GT
If you build it yourself, you're looking at an Athlon II x2, a 4670, and 4 GB RAM.

I guess I just proved you wrong.
Oh and thanks Sgt. Pringles for finding this for me!

Like 50 over budget. Also he would like a monitor.
Naa it's ok, I can still save or borrow from parents.
But why do you want a pre-built in the first place? Atleast give us a reason so we will stop bothering you.
I have gave a reason before which was that I don't think I'll manage and/or fuck it all up and that's my money thrown down the shitter, so I'm ok with a pre-built. :colbert:
its impossible to fathom how fucking dense you are
Mmmk, now leave this thread if you have nothing better to say.

I have read an article on toms hardware comparing the gaming performance to dollar of the core i7 and phenom 2 955 I can't seem to find it though, but they found out that even a computer maker like cyberpower performed 20% worse than a home built of the same specs. Personally that brand for the prebuilt is worse than cyber power.

No probs :buddy:
If he wants a Pre-Built then let him, sure there will be some money loss due to the profit that the company needs to make, but if he wants to be able to get his PC straight away and plug it in and bang he has a fully working windows 7 gaming pc sitting in front of him, then let him. I do admit building one is better but if they dont want to then move along you say it once, they say no, you say it twice they say they dont want to, and then leave it, find a nice pre built post it and then leave the thread.
Find someone who knows how to put a Pc together and get them to build it if you are so worried, then pay them. That way it is still cheaper but you don't need to worry.

You obviously can't read. Cyber power is usually ahead of most pre builts because it is somewhat hand built.
Ok, I do agree that hand built computers are probably better than pre-builds but like Sgt. Pringles said I do want to get it and just "Plug 'n' Play" basically.

It doesn't take long to build a computer you can build it in like 2 hours if you are taking it slow. Also you could just find somebody to build it for you if it is a friend it could be pretty cheap.
Naa, I don't know anyone that can build PC's. Half my friends don't know a thing about computers anyway.

Really you need better friends.
Nope. My friends are awesome.
