I'm honestly shocked that there is a game based on Castle, even if it is a shitty Hidden Object Search game. I'm not surprised that it turned out to be pretty bad, though. Any licensed game made by virtually unknown devs on an obviously low budget never turn out good. But dammit, now I'm almost tempted to buy this game just to see what it's about, mostly because I have a love-hate relationship with the show. I love the characters and the actors who play them, they're the reason why I still watch the show, but I hate the fact that the plots have gotten so outlandish in the recent seasons (I still hate the episode the writer mentioned, with the Time Travel plotline). To be honest, though, if there was a Castle-based game that played like L.A. Noire, I would play the shit out of it.

I mean, the aforementioned Time Travel thing does attempt to make it seem like maybe it was all fake, but it still leans towards "yeah that shit was real". And there are some legitimately good episodes in season 6, but it seems like there were too many gimmicky episodes this season (there was also an episode featuring Ninjas. Yeah, the characters repeatedly state that they are not Ninjas, but they fit every stereotypical definition of "Ninja" that yeah, they pretty much were). But it did finally resolve the whole "Beckett's Mom" story arc, so I'd watch it for that alone. Still, the show's been steadily declining in quality since season 3. And this season ended on the most cringe-inducing cliffhanger ever. Like I said, it's a love-hate relationship.
