Sorry, but for a 1000$ budget, it's probably better to just get a cheapy case, not the 900, and the 900 is no better than the 300, it just has more harddrive slots. Also, you could save if you got Win7, that will last for about a year, i think..
If you really want to save money you should check out the dell outlet website.
Get an antec 300, You don't really need a 900 like Xaphania. 700w is overkill use this psu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341017
Also Optical drive is IDE, get SATA if you don't want huge cables clogging up the case.

get ready for explosions
PSU->:happyelf:<-rest of computer
meaing that its power is overkill?
Meaning that the powersupply will blow up, and fuck the rest of your computer in the ass. With magnets.
Cheap PSU = bad

Dont go with a antec 900. Ive had a horrible past with antec products. Get a CM Storm Scout instead. There pretty identical cases an the scout has awesome cable management and also has back axcess to your heat sink mounts. Scouts also $10 cheaper an has free shipping on newegg. I Just got mine an i love it.
V9 is much better.
I didn't even consider the v9. Considering it didn't have free shipping an newegg rapes you for shipping on cases.
