Not looking for anything too crazy, just a reasonably large (max 28ish inches in size), 1080p, 60hz, under $200, maybe $250 maximum.
I've already got one in mind: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-VE278Q-1920x1080-DisplayPort-Monitor/dp/B0043T34RK
If it helps, I've got a ZOTAC GTX 750ti, an Intel Core i5 4460 @3.2ghz and 12 gigs of ram.
Oh, and my current monitor is an LG Flatron W2061TQ. Gonna use it as a secondary monitor hopefully.
How about an IPS monitor.

All are 27 inch 60hz IPS monitors. The ASUS one has speakers.

The ASUS one looks really nice, might look into it.
I know you are looking at getting something around the 27-28 inch range but ill throw this out there just because its a good cheap monitor.
