I'm deciding to replace my 5770 with a 6850. Is this worth it?
Nah.
I would say save up more and go for at least a GTX 560
My budget just went up to 280 CAD (excluding tax) Which card should i get? From this site please. Canadacomputers.com
This one [url]http://canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=43_557_559&item_id=036000[/url] But can you post your full specs?
Decided to get this [url]http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=43_557_558&item_id=035482[/url]
6950 is a good choice, but it's cheaper on Newegg.ca, just to let you know.
My Specs are CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965 (3.4Ghz) RAM: 6Gigs DDR2 800mhz 4-4-15 Motherboard: Asus M4A77 (I'm pretty sure) [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] 6950 or the 560?
also I need the PSU, and measure out your case a 6950 is 10.5in, and a GTX 560 is 9in, if I remember correctly [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] as for your question above both the GTX 560 and the 6950 are cheaper on newegg
I'd rather buy it here cause its 5 minutes away from where i live. And i'll probably get the 560 because the 6950 isn't in stock ): [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] 550 Watts PSU My case probably won't fit a 6950 ): [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] 11" In my case it's good to go. Is a 6950 really worth the extra 40 dollars? [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] Also I'll be playing at 1920x1080
So i bought the 6950 but unlocking it to a 6970 made it unstabled ): Furmark would whitescreen in 10minutes, crysis would just crash. Thats suuuckkss.
snap
Is that occuring cause of the card or my rig?
card most likely
I'm pretty sure they stopped the 6950->70 already, it never worked on the 1GB versions and they were stopping it on the 2GB
Well that sucks haha
