I want to fly one of these capital ships.
I tried flying out to Sorbago. It was a 125ly journey. After flying for about an hour of it I ended up in a string of systems with no stations. At zero fuel with no chance of making it back to civilization before my oxygen ran out or my character died of thirst I engaged the self destruct. Such is life in the void.
Always bring a fuel scoop on big journeys. :eng101:
Made that mistake this afternoon - had to fly silent and suicide to the sun. I've now replaced my cargo space with a fuel scoop :eng101:!
This game is so cool. I can't wait until the game gets a couple years worth of expansions down the line.
I love that coming out of warp effect.

Jesus Christ, I could not for the life of me remember the name of this game and I've always wanted to play it so bad. Now I can finally pick up a fucking copy of this game.
I can't picture any players agreeing to be slaves. I can't picture any players abiding by succession drama, instead of just tearing each other to shreds immediately. What creates these behaviours in E:D?

So a bunch of npcs take place in a forced drama of dev-planned warfare, that players can influence the result of?
