While this is a bit late at least it tells the truth as plain and as simple as it is.
Phil Fish deserves all the humiliation he's going to get.
In it Beer attacks Fish for not commenting on a recent Microsoft announcement about self-publishing on the Xbox One.
Wait, what the fuck? Is Fish forced by contract to make official statements about stuff like this or something?
That's like harrassing and insulting a friend because he doesn't talk about birds with you.

I just watched it, it wasn't so much that, as Fish being an ass when asked to comment. (According to the video anyway.)

I got the impression from the video is that he wants everyone to listen to what he has to say when it comes to promoting his game and whatnot but whenever people ask him about something else he basically says fuck off to them.
Well ain't that some shit.

It's not because he didn't want to talk about it.
It's about the way he communicates that he doesn't want to talk about it.
Adult men crying like little girls over internet arguments
yep, it's the games industry alright

Majority of the people in industry wouldn't cancel their game because of one argument that they actively participated in which they didn't need to.
He's also fucking over anyone he's working with on it royally. What a massive douche.
Mmm. Beer battered fish.

Fish sure has been taking notes from XDA Developers!
I love how everyone's acting like Phil Fish is the worst person in the world. He's not good with criticism, big deal. Tons of people are the same way. Edmund McMillen said in his epilogue for Indie Game The Movie that he never reads comments and reviews on his stuff now because he can't take it.
Also I don't get everyone who says he's a huge douche. A bit pompous yes, but people overreact way to much to anything he says. His "PCs are for spreadsheets" quote was so obviously a joke that I can't believe anyone took it seriously, and his comment about modern Japanese games being shit was him being over-the-top for a laugh, and if you actually watch the video you can see that.

In between calling people 'fucking ingrates that should be grateful', telling a member of the media making a joke to kill himself and going on a whiny, childish rant that made him seem reminiscent of a 9 year old with access to the internet, I've come to the conclusion he's a complete arsewipe, and I'd even go as far as saying he's worse than Sergey Titov, which makes him the worst developer in the world in my book.
At least Sergey Titov isn't parading his steaming piles of shit as 'great' games.
That's a dick move to anyone he works for or with or who invested in his stuff. Fez II seems like an all-eggs-in-one-basket kinda deal, not like any of the other people affected by this has any other project on the horizon.
Then again, Polytron seems to be a two-man operation, so maybe it's not so sad.
Am I the only one that just doesn't care because Fez was boring and literally had no challenges or penalty for death? It was a boring, lazy, overly done concept with some fancy "retro" graphics.

It's not just you, the graphics don't really seem retro though, just looks like pixel art being branded as something it's not.

Because it isn't a shoot em up platformer its more like a cryptic puzzle solver and truth to be told if the game did have a death penalty I would have quitted after the first minutes.

He's an asshole in every way, as a developper you should be professional. In every other job his behaviour would get him fired immediately. It's not acceptable in any way.
Even if it is intended as a joke, it's not the right thing to say as a developper.

I really get quite annoyed at all these people on the internet who use past tense in present tense sentences. i cannot understood what broken logic makes you did it. It just doesn't worked.

Except you need a past participle there, and quitted is correct (though uncommon). "Quit" is the more common irregular form.
Also, the second part of the sentence is an impossible conditional, so it must be in past tense.
