I like the Civ Series and I like Sci-Fi. I can see myself accidentally sinking another 100+ hours in this title like Beyond Earth.
It's more like a drug addition then a fan affinity though. Should i be worried?
I love how it's mixing Civ's broader management perspective with XCOM's combat and progression.
I would love to see in the next full fledged installment to Civilization that military units can have their battles micromanaged like this. Of course there could be an auto resolve, but right now I'm waiting on this, which according to "spring 2015" is within a few months.
