New Haha! Okay, I am making a new bit of software to help out the noobs, Those newbies can spend less time minging, more time downloading the addons, and we get less time of trying to find links for them! or trying to explain what an SVN is. So, So far this program looks up Steam in the Registry, Finds the installation Directory (Incase you put it someplace strange) Then finds the installed accounts, and finds the addon folder, from here it gives you a list of Downloadable addons, Including so far, PHX, Wiremod, Stargate and Spacebuild models. Thinking, Extra features? What should I have, I will be adding SVN Support very soon (It does a direct download from a 3rd party server at the moment), And if you guys would like to suggest some addons to go in this, or even a way to keep links current. that would be great :D Should have the first copy out in an hour or two (Originally posted this post in a better place, but it was dead quiet there, So moved :D)
You posted the original, waited 4 minutes, and came here. /ughh
Sorry Dude.... Very Excited and bouncing around the forums like a maniac. Ill try calm down
I'm picturing a kid sitting at his desk with a dozen cans of Mountain Dew, constantly twitching while his wide eyes frantically dart around the screen in ecstasy.
Hahaha, Not bad, But V energy drink :) And I'm 17, not exactly kid like.
It's alright, looking forward to seeing the finished product. ;)
Just working on the multithreading for the download, So we don't have any of the not-responding crap :D Should be out in a couple minutes... thats not including upload time [editline]08:38PM[/editline] Released Now :D http://www.megaupload.com/?d=G94YF8IQ Its a clean file ;) Be patient with it, spam clicking to get shit down will only make the downloader confused and then do even less for you. :D Still has bugs, but its nice for a newbie
