Windows refuses to load up programs and locks up when i look at My Computer. Works in Safe Mode

Mostly the title. I have done little eventful to my computer to help me think what might be the culprit. We had a thunderstorm today, power flickered, computer restarted and now it refuses to load any programs (some of the time i can see them in the task manager) and when i go to Computer to go to my hard drives Windows completely locks up.

Right now im scanning my computer in safe mode for any viruses and what not, but i would love some help, thanks!

If the computer boots in safemode that means that something is starting up which is crashing the computer. Try system restore to an earlier date

Do a RAM Test. Without ram you should be able to start the computer and then not be able to do anything
