I'm thinking about getting a Novint Falcon. Has anyone used one before; and is it a waste of money? I'd be using primarily with the pistol grip.
I've used it, they look cool but play awfully, so gimmicky and not even fun in person.
I would say that they are too big for a desk.
I want one :'(
Seems to be very tiring as you have to keep your arm in the air the entire time (can't rest it on desk).

I thought that aswell, but they demoed it in a store in Malmö and with a desk chair with good armrests it wasn't too awfull.

I'm curious as to how bad that would be.
I'm also interested in the gaming force-feedback vests you can buy. Fairly good compatability, by I still wonder. They run for $140. http://tngames.com/product_detail/3/3rd-Space-Gaming-Vest-Bundle-Black

I hate the Wiimote too. They put very little effort into it really. Have you used the Novint though? Just curious.
I have a P5 Glove, it's very much like the wiimote. Far too tiring on the arm. Cool to look at though.

I've always wandered about getting one of those too.

I'm going to be getting a few hundred dollars from ebay in a few days, and I'm wanting something fancy to go with my new graphics card. At this point, I'm liking the vest.

Sorry, no, but I have used a lot of gimmicky controllers and shit.
They just are gimmicks, sorry.
Put the 200$ towards a good mouse and a mousepad.

I've already got a superb mouse, I'm wanting something unique, that most people haven't discovered. I'm certainly not going to go with the Novint Falcon though after hearing what you all had to say.
Any ideas?

Might be better if I was a bit fatter. I'd like it hurt, rather than be a pathetic nudge too. Not sure. I'm going to go look for alternatives before I make any decision.
