Solid 9/10 game.
[sp]I feel like All Along The Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix would have really worked in the final fight with Deathshead, though. It was used in the announcement trailer but wasnt used anywhere else. Bit of a missed opportunity there.[/sp]
Defiantly deserves it, best game I've played all year.
Wish I could play this on PC, but good game regardless
Hope a sequel comes along so we can [sp]kick the shit out of Engel and possibly Hitler[/sp].

[sp]Is Hitler alive?[/sp]
[sp]Is Hitler alive?[/sp]
[sp]There's been a "Fuhrer" mentioned multiple times, but whether that's actually Hitler or even a living person is as of right now unknown.[/sp]
A checkpoint guard also says "Heil Hitler" at the beginning of the first London mission.

[sp]He was alive in 1946 according to a newspaper cutting but beyond that no one knows, he might have died but the Nazi's kept 'Hitler' in power.
The film Equilibrium did something along those lines. [/sp]
I think they fucked up the story a bit
[sp]Evil Nazi Tech should have stayed Nazi[/sp]
but gameplay wise its's fucking great.
It was good but I should have played it on normal difficulty. I played it on the difficulty right below the hardest and the game became a game to beat instead of a game to enjoy

My complaint would be it was too easy :v:
I mean I'm probably gonna sound like an asshole here but i really did not find it that difficult even on Uber, i died a few times sure but nothing took me more than a couple of tries to figure out once you learn what enemies you face and where they attack from. In fact i was somewhat let down by the boss fights aswell cause they were just so straight forward.
Still a great game and if it wasnt for Alien Isolation this would have been my favorite game of the year.
I liked it. I thought the idea of [sp]The jews secretly being a mega advanced race and that shit[/sp] was killer and absolutely hilarious. It also revealed that a friend on steam is a /pol/ skinhead which led to even more keks so all in all I would rate the game about an 9/10
I thought it was a great game but in a few ways the story felt like they wanted to do more but didn't have the time, hoping for that to be remedied with a sequel.
This game was so good that even though my PC could barely run it past 15-20 fps, I played it all the way through.

It feels a lot like the whole game was supposed to be more but got a knife taken to it. And although your loadout basically fills all the major standard FPS roles by the end, especially if you get the Lazerkraftwerk upgrades, it also kept feeling like there were things missing in terms of weaponry for some reason.

I played it on PS4 and I'm nowhere near as good with a controller as I am with a mouse and keyboard. I most likely would have enjoyed it more for PC

If you can pull off headshots easily on PC, it probably wouldn't have been hard for you. Most of the enemies went down with 1 headshot even on uber

I kinda liked that touch.
[sp]The Nazis really weren't all that without the forced help of the people they were destroying. Possibly to cover up the Jewish involvement in the Nazi empire? We might never know.[/sp]
how come there where demons and supernatural stuff in this one.?
Definitely a solid title this year. My only gripe is no multiplayer. I played RTCW multi religiously when it came out. Got my friends to play it, joined a clan, everything. That and the game felt kinda short. Otherwise Machinegames made a worthy entry. And the Laserkraftwerk is probably one of the coolest looking weapons I've see in a long time.
MachineGames should make more reboots of other classic games / franchises.

I wouldn't call it short by any stretch of the word. A single run on hard took me 11 hours minimum, though it didn't feel like that because the pacing of the game is so non-stop and hectic that you're always doing something awesome.
My only complaint is that cutting grates with the Laserkraftwerk is a nightmare. Or, it was for me. Always just a tiny bit too small.

Try cutting two weirdly shaped chunks of a grate out, the whole thing gets removed by the game.
The only thing I didn't like is that Machine Games didn't include an updated version of Enemy Territory.
My GF got me this for Christmas. Playing it on Ueber and I think it's my favourite game of all time.
The story is just fucking captivating and at times very very emotional

Yeah, what surprised me the most about New Order wasn't the solid fps gameplay, but how attached I got to some of the characters. Why was a game that was basically an excuse to murder nazi's more emotionally engaging than The Last of Us? (imo)

That [sp]first choice[/sp] fucking tore me apart.
And also [sp] where you go back to the farmhouse and the mother is crying and slapping the Nazi. [/sp] made me tear up.

[sp]The problem is that Jimi Hendrix pops up in the Wyatt timeline and not in the Fergus timeline, so it would be quite a problem[/sp]
ALSO!
[sp]Jimi gets his shit wrecked in the second-to-last mission[/sp]
