Putting together a GPU/CPU/Mobo upgrade, would like help

Hey everyone, the title is quite explanatory. I currently have an i5 3470, XFX 280x Black Edition and 8GB RAM (i'll post more in-depth specs than this when I got), and i'm feeling it's not cutting it anymore. Lots of stutter in recent games (probably cause of the relative lack of VRAM), Witcher 3 barely runs for instance. So i'd like to upgrade.
I'm considering selling my Nikon D7100 + some lenses to get the money required. I don't have the time for photography anymore so having such an expensive DSLR is a bit of a waste, and I could possibly get 900 or more euros for it.
This is the current list of things i'm looking at but i'm not that knowledgable so i'd love some input:
- Intel Core i7-7700K Boxed 309 euros
- MSI B250 PC Mate 88,95 euros (I don't know shit about motherboards, but I really want a new one cause my current one has some weird ethernet problems)
- Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 WINDFORCE OC 8G 550,09 euros (I know I know, a 1080 is a bit overkill if i'm not really planning on 4K, 144Hz or VR but it's only 25 euros more than the MSI 1070 I was planning on getting before so figured why not)
This would make a total of 948,04 euros. It's a lot of overkill for a 60Hz 1080p screen, but i'm planning to get a 1440p screen too (either simultaneously with these parts or further in the future)
I don't know much about monitors but i'm currently eyeing this one:
Medion Erazer X58222 for 329 euros.
Monitor included it would be 1277,04 euros and would also have to have good vertical angles so I can comfortably watch stuff from my bed, and be bigger or equal to 22'' (my current monitor size)
Again, I don't know that much about this kind of thing so i'd really appreciate any input. Thanks!
Prioritise the GPU upgrade over the CPU/mobo. Another 8gb of ram is always nice (DDR3)
any motherboard that is not z170 or z270 will not allow overclocking making the fact that you want a 7700k kinda a waste.
If you plan on overclocking get a different motherboard, if you dont, get a cheaper cpu.
Another thing to note, if you were to buy a newer mobo and CPU past skylake (6700k or 7700k) you will need to buy DDR4 RAM which is also pretty fucking pricey atm

First of all here's the speccy

And i'm pretty sure I have a dual RAM kit so i'd have to get a whole 16GB kit if I wanted to get 16 gigs of RAM.
And yeah, i'm aware that it's a bit nonsense to pay more for a K-processor when I don't play on overclocking but the difference between the 7700 and the 7700k is literally 10 euros here so I thought I might as well, could always get a more expensive mobo and overclock in the future.
And yeah PCpartpicker is very useful, used it for the wattage. Still not sure my Corsair CX600 will cut it though. English/non-NL prices make it a bit confusing on the finincial front though
And thanks for the help!
Well, i7-8xxx series releases October 5th, and it's the same as i7-7xxx series, but with more cores. Two more, actually.
So I would say if you get decent money from the camera and lenses, just go for the 8700(k,) get a shiny new z370, and throw in an after market 1080 (please dear god not a reference card.)
Otherwise, listen to Jelman.
Additionally, Asus, Acer, and BenQ have phenomenal gaming monitors- look into that.

Oh, and 600 W is more than enough, my man. Don't need much more unless you're pushing stupid high overclocks with exotic cooling.
Build Critique:
1: The 7700K does not come with a cooler. You will need to add one.
2: The 7700K supports overclocking while your B250 Mobo does not. Consider upgrading to a Z270 Motherboard.
2.5:You can also downgrade the CPU to a, i7-7700, as a bonus. This one does come with a cooler.
3: You cannot use DDR3 RAM on that Motherboard, you need DDR4. There are almost no 7700(k) compatible motherboards that still support the old DDR3.
I would upgrade just your GPU first, that will probably fix most of your problems. If not: Intel will be releasing their new 8 series CPU line in a few days, and you can pick up one of those, with a new 3## series motherboard and 16Gb of DDR4 RAM.
Buying any more DDR3 RAM, is a waste at this point.
