I made a thread about this previously. That thread however, was about a completely different computer on a completely different copy of the game. I first tried to install it on my other comp. It got to the end when the install crashed, rendering the game unusable. Apparently, I couldn't un-install either, so I had to manually delete the files. I try again, this time it says something along the lines of "failed to install". I then thought that something was wrong with the game. Luckily best buy replaced it. I tried it once more with the same results as last time. Now I am trying it on my new comp with the exact same results. I highly doubt 2 faulty copies of the game in a row. What should I do?
You should tell us your PC specifications first.

Also, as stated in the link, try updating your video card drivers.
Make sure you have enough hdd space :p
paul simon: No luck, I just updated them now and I still get the same error
taipan: 346 GB of free space :/
It's pretty obvious it's not drivers, since it's crashing ON INSTALL. The installer doesn't give a shit about drivers.
Pantz76: Is it giving any errors at all, or just a silent crash?

I fixed it.
It turns out, the error message I was getting was pretty common. All I had to do was disable antivirus.
