Hey FP.
When playing F1 2010 (and Mafia II too, by the way), my computer runs it smoothly for about 5 minutes, and then the fps drops to pretty shit for like 30 seconds, then back to high fps for 2-3 minutes, and then the pattern starts over.
I've experienced that problem before when I was playing GTA IV, but that happened due to overheating. So I vaccuumed my computer and it solved the problem.
But now it still does it, even though my computer is clean inside. It doesn't help dropping the graphics to the lowest either. It's really weird.
Any ideas for a solution?

maybe your fan is throttling too much. aka, being low when the temps are low letting it get high then suddenly jumping to 100% fan to cool it and... yeah. if you think its your graphics card try to check your fan speed with rivatuner.
I'm not into tweaking hardware really, so can you explain for me what I can do?
Btw the specs are:
3,0 gHZ AMD Quadcore
1024 MB GForce 285GTX
8GB Ram
Win 7 X64

I have EXACTLY the same.
With both, Mafia and f1 2010.
Please somebody let us know what it is. I thought it was something with the RAM memory? But nevertheless its very annoying, everything is smooth for 3/4 laps and then suddenly a huge framedrop starts... :(
