My external WD 1 TB drive isn't being recognized by windows
when I go into disk management, it says my drive's just unallocated space, when I right click it and click initialize disk, I get an I/O error.
Using another port and reinstalling the driver didn't work

Download some diagnostics from WDs website, although I don't know how well they work.
