I agree with what one guy said in the comments section.
I still haven't seen anything compelling about this game and every time they show it, all they say is "It's so big".... Well that's great but the gameplay looks like crap and no one who has played it seems impressed. They all say the flight is too simplistic, there isn't much to do, the little shooting they tried was as bad as Mirror's Edge's... Like yeah the original trailer was nice, but every time a new detail comes out, it's always "no you cannot do that". Like barebones, like what Minecraft was, only without that hook of lego.... so all you have is exploring and that's it.
Spore 2.0
My friend is so excited about this game, but I already know it's just going to be fucking bland with nothing to do. I don't want him to be disappointed, but his mind is made.
I eagerly await the inevitable disappointment that will come after all the hype and press this game has gotten for so long. Or all us skeptics will be wrong, which would be even better.
Elite Dangerous with even less to do, is what I've been thinking of it
Spore 2.0
How is this similar to Spore?
How is this similar to Spore?
Hyped to the heavens, and was a disappointment on release.
Hyped to the heavens, and was a disappointment on release.
People are literally hyping themselves - We know exactly what the game is going to be like. If people have higher expectations than what has been shown then that's their fault.
I'm looking forward to it but I'm not expecting more than a game version of Space Engine. I'm alright with the game just being that so I'm not going to land into disappointment unless their planet generation is dog shit.
My brother bought a PS4 just for this game, I really hope for his sake it'll be incredible
My brother bought a PS4 just for this game, I really hope for his sake it'll be incredible
Hope he loves space engine
Elite Dangerous with even less to do, is what I've been thinking of it
I mean at least Elite: Dangerous has our Galaxy and doesn't fucking shove it in your face that we're in a procedurally generated cloud of shit.
I'm pretty excited for this despite knowing what it'll be, tbh.
My brother bought a PS4 just for this game, I really hope for his sake it'll be incredible
Well even if it's shit, there's lots of other exclusives
I refunded because I feel like it won't live up to my expectations and it was a dumb idea getting it after only watching a few videos.
I'm going to enjoy this game for the strange creatures, calm space travel, and black holes.
Well even if it's shit, there's lots of other exclusives
Bloodborne is the only exclusive that makes owning a PS4 worth it.
Bloodborne is the only exclusive that makes owning a PS4 worth it.
Uncharted 1-2-3-4? Alienation? Death Stranding? The Last Guardian? Digimon Story? Horizon: Zero Dawn? God of War 4? TLOU Remastered (if you didn't play the ps3 version)? Gravity Rush 1-2? Shenmue 3? Until Dawn? Everybody acts like Bloodborne is the only exclusive for the PS4 (do note that some of them are the ones i think look pretty cool)

It's an avalanche of dirt cheap video games which are sometimes pretty good. (Like Rocket League and Furi)
Spore 2.0
Starbound 2.0 Really, people should stop and think before making another "super huge" space sandbox game since it's becoming apparent that it is too ambitious as a concept.
Starbound 2.0 Really, people should stop and think before making another "super huge" space sandbox game since it's becoming apparent that it is too ambitious as a concept.
No, people should pursue ambitious concepts. There's nothing wrong with trying.
I agree with what one guy said in the comments section.
The way I saw them describe the multiplayer is pretty shit too if you want to play with friends. Pretty much you're going to spawn forever away from eachother and even if you knew where eachother were it would take you fucking forever to get there.
No matter what this will be fun for exploration but I've not seen anything else D:
I really hope the game turns out to be an amazing 10/10 game... But everything they have shown us so far points towards the opposite.

The only actual released exclusives on that list are Alienation, Digimon Story, and Until Dawn. A shoot 'em up (with zero information on Wikipedia I might add), an anime RPG, and a spooky David-Cage-type game. So unless you're shelling out hundreds of dollars for better graphics or one of these relatively niche games, that's a pretty shitty list if you're trying to convince someone that it's worth owning a PS4 atm

Resogun is a great exclusive btw.

Isn't that by the same developers who made that abomination War-z, then renamed it ifnestation: survivor cause it was such a lieing disgrace which it still is? If it's the case I'm not giving those people any money even if the game is amazing, they pulled some shady shit.

If this was true MP with crafting (think Rust IN SPAC) it would be exciting Or if there was any indication that there would be depth to the exploration and some overarching plot But at the moment it looks like Singleplayer Rust in Space and that sounds like it would be fun for 3 hours
