I'm hoping this turns out to be great like Origins, but with Bioware's recent track record I'm fearing the worst.
I'm kind of mad that they use Frostbite. The full fledged modding tools of Origins were amazing.
Game's looking good, but looks can be deceiving. Hopes are high, but expectations are sooooo low.
my expectations for this game is very low... i'm not waiting for it and i'm actually feeling that this game is going to be another money trap.
Very very cautiously optimistic. I'm hoping for a more Origins feel (which I'm assuming we'll get, as they've at least not rushed this game and have actually acted on feedback) and I'll likely end up picking this up if it isn't a ball of shit, as I'll need my RPG fill after DaSII blows over near the end of 2014.
I'll basically be using it as a makeshift bandage to stop me bleeding out before The Wild Hunt

I believe in trailer the game had some nice composition and aesthetic but the asset quality does not seem that high, definitely plenty of blurry textures.

I can't find this trailer in better quality, even in 1080p it seems jaggy.
hopefully this makes up for 2

I think you just got a shite quality trailer there because I've seen it with much better.

I've seen it in better quality too and it was blurry still, I just couldn't find it in higher quality to post here, I guess textures just end up like this because they scale models in editor a lot and don't use detail texture map.

You should expect every new game that comes out to be shit.
If it's good it blows your expectations, but if it's bad you're not disappointed.

I'd agree with you in maybe half of what you said, I think knowing the game will turn out well and hype altogether is probably the half of what will make the game enjoyable.
yeah being cynical 24/7 is boring as hell, you just have to understand that if a game doesn't turn out as awesome as you hoped, then that's that.
No reason flipping out and crying high heresy, it's just video games!

What I do is hear that it's going to be a thing and then forget about it until it actually comes out.

The simplest way to live life. You're either pleasantly surprised, or expectations are met precisely as envisioned. You never lose.

Doubt it. Even if they did redeem it to Origin levels, it'd be no match for The Witcher 3. Now THAT is a game that can be looked forward to, unlike DA:I, which is going to be mediocre at best. I'd be very surprised if it was good.
