Except EA has nothing to do with development of Titanfall. Respawn isn't owned by EA so EA has no control over creative decisions such as DLC.
But I can see Respawn doing this.
I mean they've already made the model so

EA would almost certainly be involved with any kind of external licensing since, you know, they are publishing the game and would therefore be equally as liable for copyright infringement as Respawn.

In at least two of the segments it's pretty obvious that Prime was edited in, the scene where he's holding the ax was ripped right out of their earlier trailers.
