I am considering getting a Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet. Can anyone offer opinions/suggestions? Is there a better alternative?

If you want a tablet at any range, Wacom is the only good brand. The others are just cheap knock-offs.

Wacom Bamboo is perfect for home use. Everything pricier is just meant for the connoisseurs/pros.
If it's your first tablet, Bamboo Pen is excellent for the beginners.
