I need help or recommendations on a new 500gb hard drive, I want 7200rpm and SATA 6 if you can, but I don't mind SATA 3. Cheaper is better.

Conventional HDDs are not limited by SATA rev. 2 at 3Gbit/s. The disk can only produce the information so fast, so 3 GB/s is more than enough.
SATA rev. 3 at 6 Gbit/s is only really a benefit when you have solid-state drives, which are MUCH faster, but also much more expensive.
Therefore, disregard SATA 3.
