I recently upgraded to Windows 7, and wanted to play Call of Duty: UO, i was wondering if it would work on Windows 7?
If not is there ANY way to get it to work?
i wouldn't understand why it wouldn't work
it would most likely work.
It should work, i had a minor problem on Vista with it before though.
It's just that last time i tried an old game, it crashed before anything happened, the install went fine, it just wouldnt play.
battlefield 2 has its shits with vista but the call of duty series never has
i've played the original call of duty and medal of honor games on vista and they work fine
Well i am installing it now, so we will see.
Why didn't you just install it first and see if it worked, then if it didn't you should've made a thread about it. Is your time really worth so much that you can't spare 5 minutes to install something before asking about it?
Did you try running the other game in compatability mode?

I keep getting these errors, even in compatibility mode.
Try running as administrator.
I did, it loaded but said something about a Buffer Render overflow or soemthing, then crashed back out

Good idea to test before applying any patches lol.
Right to fix the error of the default_mp.cfg you need to copy the file:
localized_english_pak0.pk3
to your Main folder of Call of Duty
If you dont know how to do this I can give you the long solution lol.
But the files located either on CoD1 or CoD2:
CDROM : Setup (folder) / Data (folder) / Main (folder)
