Samsung Katalyst - Screen doesn't work.

Hello Facepunch. My Samsung Katalyst, model #SGH-T739, worked fine, up to now. The screen somehow doesn't work anymore so I have to use my mom's Samsung T349 (I hate the keyboard layout). I can turn it on and press buttons (they somehow work) but no display means no usage. Any way I can fix it without having to pay money out my ass for "professional" repair?

take it apart and see if there is any damage to the ribbon cable or if it just got unplugged
