I was wondering if I could recruit the ideas of you bright young men on this problem I'm trying to resolve at the moment.
This involves using ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) and Checkpoint SecuRemote VPN client.
I was wondering if it was possible to connect a machine to a computer connected to the SecuRemote VPN, and jump onto the private network. This is needed to be resovled since SecuRemote does not work on 64bit operating systems. The user I have right now, needs to be on the network, and I was thinking this could be a possible solution.
I was thinking of the adhoc being this;
Main Machine (Win7) -> Wireless Connection(ICS) -> "Gateway" computer, On VPN -> Wired through network -> Internet -> VPN Server.
Problems I face, is that Win7 accessing the "gateway" computer that's on the VPN, and bypassing that VPN connection and going straight to the Internet.
If you are not familiar with Checkpoint VPN (But familiar with others)
Checkpoint uses services, not an actual device like Cisco or MCI VPN's
There is 3 services, one being the actual connection.
These services act upon 3 separate drivers... 2 out of the 3 aren't 64bit compatible.
So, any suggestions or input?
