• laptops worth their price

I have recently joined facepunch, because a lot of friends of mine go on here, and I was interested in joining. lately I have asked a lot of my friends where I could find a good laptop, and worth the money. I am a avid gamer like I would expect most other facepunch users to be. I recently was looking at either the "Battalion 101 W170HR Gaming Laptop" or the "Battalion 101 W150HRQ Gaming Laptop", the only difference is the screen size and that the w150 comes with twice the RAM. I was thinking I would go with the 150, it is only a thousand, and it could run even starcraft 2 on ultra. I wanted to know what any of your thoughts were on this, and if you knew any laptops that would be more worth their price. My budget it around 1200$, but I could go up if it would be a great deal. Really consider whether you want to sacrifice so much performance for a worse computer - just because it's a laptop. You could build a better desktop for $700. Those don't seem like very good deals, at all, either. You're better off avoiding places like iBuyPower for a laptop. Thanks! The ASUS G53 looks great, and running starcraft 2 on max settings and still looking crisp for only 1300 I think yes!
Check out any of the laptops on www.xoticpc.com. There you'll find all the laptops being pretty much the most bang for your buck than any other site.
If you want a laptop that fat for that price: Build a Desktop for $800-$1000 with better specs. Buy a tablet/netbook to take with you.

If you can get it for cheap I'd say do it, I recently bought a laptop with a i7, GTX260, 4GB ddr3 and a 500GB HDD. [editline]26th September 2011[/editline] If you can get it for cheap I'd say do it, I recently bought a laptop with a i7, GTX260, 4GB ddr3 and a 500GB HDD for 700 euro's.
