• Display driver crashes.

This has happened before with me. I thought I solved it, but no. After playing video games for a while, the screen flashes black and then there is a shitload of lag. I have the latest NVidia 256.98 drivers for my GTX 260M. Does anyone know any sort of program that might cause this?
DriverSweeper your video card's drivers, and reinstall them. Just to make sure there's no problem there.
Its likely to be your card overheating if youre playing games for a while. Check that vents/fans arnt blocked.
You're not over- or underclocking it, right? When I tried to overclock mine, I had it freeze up suddenly every 4-5 minutes, lag horribly, and sometimes even bluescreen. Needless to say, I set the clocks back to default. :v: If that's not the case, try what Abby said, and if that doesn't work, check to see if anything's affecting the game's performance instead of the card.
Default clocks...
