I have a problem with my videocard not responding, it only seems to happen when im in Internet Explorer or Windows Movie Maker. I have Windows 7, and a Geforce GT220 (running at 1900x1200) with the lastest driver version of, 260.99. I have only a 220W power supply too. Is it from my power supply, resolution, something else? Do you guys have any ideas?
Also it only stops responding a bit in Internet Explorer (except for, everytime I click on a new video in Youtube). Was working fine with Windows Movie Maker but now after a recent update Windows made i cant even open it without it not responding then crashing.
It is most likely your PSU not bit enough to give the power to the GPU for it to do intense tasks like video editing and watching videos.
Yeah, it's your power supply. Get one with more wattage and this (probably) won't happen.
I was thinking the same thing. Yeah your kinda right, not going to bother with getting a new power supply until I get a new graphics card.
Thanks for the help.
