I was wondering how much performance I would lose if I was to raid two 60GB Vertex 2E drives together because I know TRIM support will be disbabled.

You'd probably gain speed with RAID 0, striping is fast as tits.

I would also like to know the trade-offs. My R/W times are getting worse on my machine and I've been considering buying two Vertex 2's and doing the same.
