• How badly do I need upgrades?

I'm currently saving up some moneys to upgrade my computer but I'm not sure what I really need. CPU Q6600 Motherboard Abit IP35 PRO Memory 3gb 800mhz, can't remember the brand Graphics Card 8800GTX 768mb Sound Card On-board Does anything there really need upgrading or should I leave it another year or so before buffing up?
CPU and mobo is good. If your motherboard supports it I'd suggest getting some 1066MHz RAM, about 4gb, try and get timings of 5-5-5-15 or less. Graphics card is still awesome but if you want to get something better I'd go for an ATi 4870.
How can I see if my Mobo supports 1066mhz RAM?
Just checked, it can. That motherboard is known for good overclocking too, might want to look into that if you're confident. Can get the Q6600 up to 3GHz easily, might need a new cooler though.
If you don't have any issues running things, don't upgrade just for the sake of upgrading.

You don't need upgrades at all.
as long as your drivers are uptodate then you don't need to upgrade
