Sorry if I should be asking else where, but this will be a pretty contentless thread, The title may of gave it away but basically I want to get a button mashing brawl game on the Xbox 360. I've looked at some gameplay and drew a stale mate, and there i a general split between what to get when I ask my friends. Opinions?
Mortal Kombat. It takes the cake for fighting games. Bloody, gory and amazingly fun.
While Mortal Kombat is a better game, I would personally take Tekken. My entire childhood was spent playing Tekken.
N/A. Soul Calibur.
Primal Rage obviously. [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f7/Primal_Rage_flyer.jpg[/t]
N/A. Soul Calibur.
Soul Calibur 5's online is dead and has a shallow singleplayer, from what I hear. And Street Fighter is the least newbie-friendly fighting game series I've ever seen, which is a hell of an accomplish in non-newbie-friendliness considering the genre.
Mortal Kombat 2 and 3. The combat feels so meaty and right, the gore is _SO_ satisfying, pulling off a fatality never gets boring. Mortal Kombat 2 is pretty much "WHAT A FIGHTING GAME SHOULD BE"
For button mashers, out of the three Mortal Kombat would be the most fun. But a game that has a lot better button mashing would be Marval vs Capcom 3.
Street Fighter for me.

Tekken. The combat feels weird and unnatural in the other two.
Mortal Kombat. The first fighting game I have ever played. And I played the first three games on MAME. MK9 brings such nostalgia to me.
Mortal Kombat and Tekken are my preferred games, I never got into Street Fighter. Out of the two though, I'd say Mortal Kombat.
I really like Street Fighter, could never really get into Mortal Kombat or Tekken.
Street Fighter, no question here.
I'd have to go with Tekken, mostly because it was the only fighting game I really played as a kid.
Street Fighter, atleast Third Strike. Tekken and Mortal Kombat, in my opinion, don't feel as fluid and smooth as Third Strike. But i honestly prefer ArcSys games over all three of those. They feel very fluid, reactive and are very combo heavy.
I've never liked Street Fighter, nor Tekken. Mortal Kombat was my childhood.
