• System restarts before boot

I need some fresh minds to offer their thoughts on the issue: - My PC will not POST - When powered on, all fans/LEDs/pumps/etc. will power on and start running, however the system will immediately power down and reboot - Power supply possesses a self-test feature, which it passes - Both RAM sticks were removed and swapped out with each other, but the problem persisted - The CMOS was cleared both with the switch and battery - The PWR connector was removed from the motherboard, and the system was powered on using the motherboards power button, problem persisted - The LED debug screen on the motherboard does not display an error, as the system does not get to POST The system itself was running fine just a few hours ago, so I have no idea what caused this. I'm hoping that it is in fact the RAM, as previously I had issues with the system not being able to exit hibernation due to an issue with hiberfil.sys and error 0xc0000411.
Did you remove BOTH RAM sticks? Does your motherboard give no beep when the RAM is installed? Try to remove EVERYTHING but essential things to at least get a image. (Remove HDD, GPU if your motherboard has onboard video out, optical drives, etc etc)
I removed one RAM stick and attempted boot, then replaced it with the one I removed first.
Yes, but I mean remove BOTH and start your computer then. See if it will beep or not.
I removed every component and connection I could, the only things connected were the CPU cooler and CPU to the motherboard, same issue. [editline]4th July 2013[/editline] I swear to god if the motherboard is faulty. [editline]4th July 2013[/editline] Tested with another power supply, the issue persisted. At this point I'm almost certain it's the motherboard, but I'll try the RAM in a friends computer tomorrow as a last ditch effort.
