Okay, so recently I purchased a new graphics card, (Galaxy GeForce GT 240) as well as a new power supply (600 watts). I changed out the power supply first. We uninstalled the drivers on our old ATI card and then replaced that card with the new GT 240. Once we plugged everything back in, we booted up the computer and the Dell logo appeared on the display and then the display went black. We waited awhile, and nothing happened. Windows would not start.
I honestly do not know what is wrong, so any help is much appreciated. The guys at support said if it was not the power supply, than it could be a faulty card. I'll show you the specs, so you can determine what is wrong:

Take out the card and put it in again. It's probably not this but it's worth a try. Also, check if everything is plugged in properly.
I just returned the card and am currently going to try an ATI Radeon 5750.
Good move. The 5750 is far superior to the GT 240. But I pray to God that you didn't overpay for the 5750.
Well, I successfully installed the 5750 and so far I am loving it. I'm having no problems at all.
How much did you pay for it?
