Fucking finally, should of been there at launch. Haven't touched my vita at all.
Sony were far too late to add emulation to their console.
Hopefully a good amount of PSOne Classics will be out by the time the AC3: Liberation bundle comes out.
Oh wow, I didn't know that the Vita didn't even have this yet.
I've heard rumors that all PS1 classics should be compatible upon release. A developer responisble for making the Classics compatible for PSP and PS3 stated in an interview they saw no reason why all the games shouldn't work after work is done on the emulator.
Meaning that if all the classics are not available, it means Sony is holding them back.
Let this be a lesson to all developers. Backwards compatibility is not only good, but required if you wish to keep your fanbase happy. No one wants to buy the same shit twice.
..Um.
Am I the only one that finds it a little silly that the only games (apparently) worth playing on the Vita are PS1 games? According to various communities anyway.
There are more games to play on Vita now then there were on 3DS at its 5 month mark.

And you could play PS1 games on a PSP no problem so why wasn't this at launch?

Seems the same for the 3DS. The most popular games seem to either be remakes or classic downloadable games.

I don't have a fucking clue. It's like the biggest mistake they made in the launch of the Vita aside from the overpriced memory cards. Not having full compatibility with PSP games, I kind of understand, but to not even launch with the PS1 emulator, and not even being able to release it shortly after launch is sad.
Most likely some suit or something thinks that withholding features is a good thing. I swear if they don't launch on Vita with all the already released classic games on PSN, I'm going to cry at their inability to please their customers.
