• Ubuntu cant connect to wireless internet

I have a HP 802.11b/g Wireless Network Adapter and I don't think Ubuntu recognizes it, I cant find any wireless networks or when I imput all the information to connect next to the network name i put in it says "never" please help.
we need the name of the chip used in your wireless LAN card.
Where do i find that?
Post the output of lspci.
Nevermind I just went to using Linux Mint. But thanks.
