• USB Mouse Button Problem

I've had a problem with my USB mouse lately. The mouse itself is a very generic Logitech. Basically, whenever I hold down the left button, it will randomly 'un-click' if I move the mouse at all. The problems this causes are very annoying, such as it being very difficult to play as the heavy or pyro in TF2, due to the firing of their weapons being very sporadic. I also can't move props or ragdolls in gmod without dropping them, because the beam literally flickers on and off if I move the mouse at all. But in programs like MS paint, I can draw very quickly without the line being broken. This doesn't just affect source games - it affects same audio editing programs I use, causing me to not be able to easily select a section of audio. I assume this is the mouse's problem, as even when I switched from Windows XP to Windows 7, the problem still existed. I really just want to know if this is in any way fixable, or would it be better for me to just get a new mouse.
You're better off just getting a new mouse. Cheap 3-button mouses run at 10$, so just go for one of them. If you want a gaming mouse or something else, then I think the G15 is what's, "up there." *Edit But if you want a last-resort try, see if you can open your mouse and push the left-side up.
1) Break the mouse apart 2) Remove some of the material that actually clicks (from the part which you push, not the one on the circuit board) as it might be bent in a bit 3) Glue a flat piece of metal on it
Thanks. I'll try fixing it, but I assume I'll just buy a new one eventually anyway.
