What happens to all the people who backed hundreds in this already?
But this has been happening for over a year now
[editline]29th April 2015[/editline]
and of course the journalists are still focusing on the money and not the actual game
Good... god they are late on this.
It's actually impressive.
I'll just post this screenshot.

How is this a new thing? They've had a subscription-based newsletter for quite a while now.

Nothing, why would anything? This is just for a newsletter and some concept art each month, with an occasional bonus reward.
I just thought they'd get a discount or something since they already paid a lot.
People sure are concerned about making sure you know their opinion on Star Citizen's progress (which is nearly always some flavour of "that's too much money" or "lol vapourware"). Can people fuck off with this already?

Once the game is out they'll go "lol 100m bucks for this?"

It's gonna suck dude

Doubt it. Its gonna be great for what were looking for. Its just gonna take forever and delayed by 5 more years before its out.
Yeah, I remember there being a sub option when the robertsspaceindustries first went live years ago. I almost subbed up, but went "meh, it'll be way too long I'm not subbing this shit"
I'm hardcore disappointed by SC so far.
I dunno, maybe I just didn't set my sights too high but SC, especially Arena Commander, has grown quite a bit from a tech demo to an actually pretty fun space fighter. The FPS module is dropping soon, it still feels like the dev team is excited and inspired by what they're doing, I honestly don't understand the disappointment. What did you expect you'd have by now?
Star Citizen in my eyes seems overly ambitious and I feel like they may not be able to fulfill all of their promises for the games. I mean, it's been stated that the game is going to be over 100 gbs. I don't see how they are going to fit everything into it

- Over 100GB
- Won't fit everything in
I don't understand what you're trying to say.
If you can, watch/try the new PTU tutorial missions. Like some say, it's like a sneak peak of PU. I just tried it and it was great.

We've never seen anything like this before - something that's been crowdfunded from the ground up and with an insane budget, has shown consistently neat content and that seems to be well on the way to pulling it off. Is it going to be as good as everybody hopes? No, because absolutely no product will ever satisfy everybody's expectations. But I'm happy to wait and see how they go before throwing conjecture around
