It was an old website where you created 2D creatures out of pre-existing parts in a menu, and you could save them, name them, etc and catalogue them and look at the creatures your friend made, the "hottest" ones, etc. I really don't recall much else about it, but oh god I always wanted to find the creatures I made when I was younger.

found it when i laid down in bed, name just suddenly came to my head.
it was creaturecology.com, it was a game where you could create animals and creatures, give them names and statistics, and deployed them into creature world. via email they would tell you where they nest and how many of your creatures exist in the wild and which creatures they killed, etc.
