Are you sure you have seen this particular type? There are the already released "microbuild" Minecraft sets, but these are different, as the sets are to normal minfigure scale.

A lot of the ones I've seen may well have been those, but I'm sure I've seen an unboxing video of one of these specific types by PaulsoaresJr. Unless the 'leak' just means we weren't supposed to find out that there was more than one set or something.
Looks like crap to be honest. Hell, the Steve figure is a prime example. It's made out of a standard Lego figure with a painted box head stuck on which is the wrong proportional size to the body (seems smaller because of the body's scale and shape difference).
But hey, children lap up just about anything to do with Minecraft, so you better cash in before it becomes irrelevant right?
