I'm really interested in buying a joystick, I love flying in games, especially helicopters in all battlefield games I'm looking for a cheap joystick <$100 (CAN), doesn't need to have those throttle pads
I'm going to recommend the Saitek PS38 Cyborg X. That's what I have. You can get them for about 50 in american dollars.
My Xbox 360 controller is quite nice for flying.

I got a 12 button cheapo joystick with pitch/yaw/roll, tophat and throttle control from EB for $25 AU
If you don't want force feedback I own an Attack3, they're dirt cheap and can be found pretty much everywhere - NO FORCE, SELF CENTERING, NO RUDDER CONTROL, NO 8-WAY HAT. When it comes to force feedback, I can't really help because I'm in the UK. Probably best to look at the ones in Best Buy or something.
That cheap Logitech joystick is great, I use it for IL2 all the time, tons of buttons for binding important functions to and its smooth and doesn't slide around my desk. http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Extreme-Joystick-Silver-Black/dp/B00009OY9U
Saitek X52 pro, when you see this you will cum so much, i just wish i had the cash to buy one :( http://www.saitek.com/UK/prod/x52pro.htm or if you can wait till next december get this, it's looking like it will be the best joystick you can buy http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/x65f.htm

I have a logitech extreme 3d pro that I got from bestbuy (I know right :v:, it was the same price as on amazon and we were there so...) for $30. It's not force feedback but you can twist the stick for rudder control and it has a pov stick (Imagine a laptop nub on the top so you can easily move the camera) and it has like 12 buttons.
you can use my joystick anyday
