CPU-exclusive gamemodes has to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard
Seems they just decided to unlock it for everyone now.
Rekt.
I can't wait until their next game.... an AMD exclusive Linux Mint exclusive shooter that's exclusive to Razer VR and exlusive to seagate HDD's

Just a follow-up: developer already reversed this, gamemodes are now unlocked for everyone.

And scare them out of the VR market for good because of this?
Don't get me wrong, it was a stupid decision, one which they now reverted but showing how hostile the very small and niche VR market is does not help the overall ecosystem gain more traction.
Despite all that, personally, it is still a very fun and enjoyable game.

What else did they expect? Locking features behind an arbitrary CPU limitation in a niche market that barely has taken off has to be one of the most stupid ideas I have ever heard.

I'd rather have VR have a slow & steady increase instead of sudden surges that involves shitty deals and practices.
This should be a warning to never even think of the latter.
