If you could ask one question and get an answer, what would you ask?

Well imagine you could ask one question (any question, no demands) and actually get an eleborated answer, what would you ask?
I'd certainly ask what exactly happens after you die, because that's a question that can never actually be answered or found out by scientist and is yet one of the biggest reasons why people have a religion (and had religions for thousands of years) and we could finally get rid of religions.
"Is there life like us in other planets" is also a good question, but I think we'll find out the answer [del]sooner or[/del] later.
post your question
Why do we live just to please ourselves.

Why did he spell " are self's " instead of ourselves.
How do I take over the world?

Sorry My Mistake.
Will I ever get laid?

That would be a tremendous waste of your magic question.
I would ask for specific instructions to put me on the path that would make me the happiest I could be in life.

I disagree, yours sounds great too, but mine will answer an answer that can never be answered by humans and that has been asked for thousands of years. at the same time it will lead to less religious active people.

I don't think so. Unless you're the superstitious type, logic can give you the answer straight away. Without a brain, you don't posses conscious thought. You were "dead" for infinite millions of years before your father was born, and you will be in the same state for infinite millions of years after your body decays; nothing but matter.
Religious people ignore all the facts as it is. I honestly don't think the majority of them would take any notice of you with your clairvoyantly attained knowledge of the lack of afterlife. Either way, in the end you wouldn't have gained anything or changed your eventual fate by using your question like that.
Is my cat gay?
When will humans land on another inhabitable planet?
