Nobody should ever think they are too savvy to be scammed, which makes it worse because when it happens you instantly think 'how could I have been such an idiot'. It's easy to look at these kinds of situations and think you'd never fall for it because you are too aware of scammers, but when you are the one in that situation it often doesn't even cross your mind that it could be a scam. Best thing you can do is if you are gonna keep information/media that people can blackmail you with, store it on a hidden physical pen drive, on a completely unrelated fresh account and/or in a more secure format eg encrypted. I find it really bizarre that people keep sexual images of themselves so casually in places that they can easily be accessed. A friend of mine who works in the public eye had a phone that didn't even have a pin code on it that got stolen and the first worry was instantly that he had nudes of his girlfriend on there as well as plenty of information as to who he is and what he does for a living. Luckily nothing ever came of it.
