Open Feint, the gaming platform coming bundled with more and more new iPod games, has just been released as a separate app.

If you have never heard of Open Feint, think of Xbox Live only mobile. When you buy a game with OF, you can save your high score and achievements to your account and compete with friends. The OF app includes an instant messenger along with various other treats such as a message board.

Without a doubt, one of the best parts of OF is its Free Game of the Day. They aren't just lite versions of games they are advertising, some of them are FULL games that go on sale for 1 day only.
Today's free game is Air Hockey.

I know this from Pocket God and Run. But this sounds pretty cool. If there's groups we could get a group of FPers going.
open feint is being integrated in a lot of game apps recently.
I like the plus+ network better, it's better looking and isn't as gimmicky.
Most of the 'free apps' are lite versions. There's an occasional paid one. This is better.
Other than that, cool to see OpenFeint evolving.
I hate it when games have all these different built in score board things, they should choose one and stick to it.
