• 4870 Idling at 74C- Antec 900 Case

I have an antec 900 case and all of my other temps are around 30-40, but my 4870 is idling at 73-74C and after a few hours it gets to 78-79C.
That IS quite hot for an idle temp. I'd turn my fan speed up a notch if I were you. 30% is usually pretty good for a 4870 with a stock cooler.
This is what I do when I'm idling: Underclock my 4870, turn the fan speed to lowest and voila it stays @ about 50-60c idle.
