I have never even heard of a minidisc.
MiniDisk players were the briefest craze every, I've only ever seen one MiniDisk and that was in 2003
I remember them in that movie. I thought they looked familiar.
My brother has a minidisk player, still going strong!
I still have a mint condition Sony MiniDisc player and about 15 MiniDiscs.
I still have a minidisc player sitting somewhere in storage. Honestly the biggest problem with them was sony's sonicstage sofware.
I still have some laying around.
Holy crap, I just remembered that my sister had one of these. I didn't even remember what it was until sonicstage was mentioned. It was a little orange device not much larger than the disc. Seems like such a bizarre concept now.
Hah managed to find my old old one [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/6252145/fotos%20and%20stuff/WP_000310.jpg[/t]
[del]So this is where they got the idea for the UMD on the PSP[/del] looking at pictures, UMDs are minidisks with a different shell
