Late, also this is the first time I ever owned Vegas legally after almost 10 years of constant use lmao
It was time for me to upgrade from 09. Seriously can't go wrong with it for $20
i've gotten so much use out of vegas that i've honestly felt bad about using it for free, even though my copy was out-of-date. easiest humble buy of my life.
This has come at a great time, my (Legally bought!) Sony Vegas 9 Platinum has just recently stopped working altogether because quicktime no longer gets support.
Also this bundle comes with a music making software and two different packs of synthwave samples, so you get the added bonus of being able to make your own 80s music.
Is this a permanent license?
Gah...if I only I had $20 to spend right now. I could really use an upgrade from my current version of Vegas.
Is this a permanent license?
So far as I've been hearing, yes.
Is this a permanent license?
The only thing that seems to be non-permanent is access to a resource repository in one of the Magix packages you get. Everything else seems permanent.
And here I just bought 15 for $100 :/
aaannnnndddd I bought it, even tho I'll probably only ever use it once in a full moon just to clip some recordings.
I can use this to edit shadowplay clips right?
How might I do this? Google is a mess and not specific enough
4k is also important I guess, but that's a separate thing I'll just figure out on my own

It's been a while since I've used Shadowplay or Vegas, but if I remember right Shadowplay and Vegas are natively compatible. If not, a simple conversion makes the Shadowplay footage Vegas-compatible.
4k and all the other rendering properties can be sorted out after editing the video
i edit videos only a few times a year at most and i have no reason not to buy this
What does the "Edit"-version actually entail?
Man, I haven't used Vegas in years. Ever since I switched to Premiere I just haven't been able to look back.
What does the "Edit"-version actually entail?
Seems to be lacking a few features from the full version mostly related to DVD mastering and some visual effects packages that a hobbyist editor likely wont use (you can probably buy them anyway).
Ugh, it's going at 90kb/s and taking 2 hours to install for me lmao. Anyone know what's up?
I'll stick to Premiere Pro personally, but more access to good software ain't bad

The download servers are getting blasted because of the sale.
Magix music maker is in this too, you get the stranger things soundpool. which is neat.
I'd be shotting myself in face and foot if I didn't take advantage of this opportunity.
[editline]18th December 2017[/editline]
You'll also get Music Maker Hip Hop Beat Producer, Xara Photo & Graphic Designer, and Magix Photostory Deluxe, something called Soundpool: Stranger Synths, Music Maker 80s edition (mint!) and Magix Photo Manager Deluxe.
This is fucking plain robbery.

I would never use this. Please don't take this key if you wouldn't either.

This too

Literally the only difference is you can't make blu ray discs or dvd's with the edit version. They are otherwise identical.
Fuck me I'll probably end up using Music maker more than any of them. Hope I can use my System 1 as a midi controller.
Seriously, if you are a creative person, FUCKING GET THIS. You will be hitting yourself later if you don't.
Just so there's no confusion, you're not actually getting a paid version of Music Maker. The only thing you're getting is six sample packs for the free version. Three for the "80's Edition" key, and three for the "Hip Hop Beat Producer" key. No VST support or anything nice like that, you need to shell out at least another $60 for that.
It's still absolutely worth it for Vegas, but that's about it. I'm glad I finally have a proper way to edit videos after all these years.

Does the $60 include all that or just the VST support? Either way will I have to pay $60 to get it working with my synth? Of coarse I'll probably pay that anyway because the samples sound great.
What does the "Edit"-version actually entail?
It's more or less the full version of Vegas, minus a lot of the special filters, special effects, and media generators you get in the full thing. However, the Edit version still supports OFX plugins and VST plugins, so you can load your own effects in.

I'm actually starting to wonder if there's any support for it in any version. The comparison between versions says nothing about VST compatibility. The whole thing may be built around buying their instruments and samples.

I mean if they can produce high quality samples at a decent price I'd bite. Just playing it through my USB sound output I can tell they sound about as natural as my synth at least. Without VST I'll just plug my computer through the PA and record that way.

People pay real money for this :v:

Jeez, the download speed is super slow for vegas, wonder if it's because of so many people getting it at once.
