Has anyone else seen this monitor? It is godly for the price it sells at:

Has anyone here used one of these monsters? I am thinking about purchasing one.

5" less
Same Resolution
$200 less.
I have this one, it's great.
I hate that akward resolution, it's hard to find wallpaper that size. Gaming on that would really suck with my 8800GTS.
I love that resolution...I have a 9800GT and all of my games are fine. Crysis: all very high, 2048x1152 about 20fps average.

I wouldn't consider 20FPS "fine" 40 or more is playable. 20 is just too choppy for me.
I need chocolate.
Its nice, but as GunskiMod said

Also, the resolution is really strange... I wouldn't get it.

The 3ms is driving up the cost by quite a bit.
Other than that, seems like a nice monitor.
[editline]03:06PM[/editline]
Oh, and there's no DVI.
Major bad point if you're gaming with a PC.
I am getting that Hannsg 28" this week or next week, but If that acer is a decent competitive price in UK then I will have a look at that one
anyone know if that acer 27" is in UK yet?
Why the fuck get such a huge monitor with a small resolution? Pixel density is going to rape the quality.
Its nice, but as GunskiMod said

It's not strange, it's normal 16:9 resolution, like 1920x1080

On a 9800gt. On Crysis.
My point is that it didn't bring my fps down a lot.
How is that monitor? People complain how it lacks contrast ratio
I actually turned down the contrast and brightness by half

It comes with a DVI to VGA dongle. Are there downsides to that?

Not really comparable
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16889253200
worth it
I still like the looks of http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824254026
It's got the resolution I want and it's fucking huge. Obviously the only downside is the contrast ratio and lack of a DVI port (but it comes with a DVI to VGA adapter).
Comments on that?

Yeah I'm more looking for a monitor than a TV and the resolution on that just sucks for gaming and such.
t's got the resolution I want and it's fucking huge.
bigger size isn't good
1090p on a 28" inch screen or the same on a 22", which one's going to look sharper d'you think
How about this one
How about this one
That's nice but I would like 1920x1200
This one looks nice:

Hmm this Samsung monitor is nice:

Good price and I've had a Samsung monitor before so I know it's reliable.
